Product management is a vast field and encompasses various sub-fields. They range from:
1. Strategy & planning (various tools in blog 79).
2. Design (UI/UX) (various tools in blog 80).
3. Execution & tactics (various tools in blog 81).
4. Go-to-market (various tools in blog 82).
5. Metrics & performance (various tools in blog 83)
6. Product development & technology (various tools in blog 84).
7. Cross-functional (various tools in blog 85).
In this blog we look at the seventh sub-field cross-functional tools in product management.

Collaboration and productivity:
· Slack: Slack is a messaging app for business that connects people to the information they need.
· Google Workspace: Productivity and collaboration tools.
· Microsoft 365: Microsoft 365 is a product family of productivity software, collaboration, and cloud-based services.
Communication tools:
· MailChimp: Mailchimp is an all-in-one marketing platform that helps you manage and talk to clients, customers, and other interested parties.
· SendGrid: SendGrid aims to provide reliable, scalable email infrastructure.
· Twilio: Twilio is a customer engagement functionality provider used by developers worldwide to build communication features and capabilities like voice, text, chat, video, and email into their applications.
There has been an increase in the use of AI (artificial intelligence) in product management. AI is helping to derive valuable insights and automate routine tasks.
Some AI use cases in cross-functional collaboration are:
- Analyse communication patterns, identify bottlenecks, and improve team collaboration.
- Automate recurring tasks such as scheduling meetings, assigning tasks, sending reminders, streamlining workflow processes and etc.
- Tools like Slack and Microsoft Teams use AI to enhance collaboration.
